Netanyahu – you seem to have blood on your hands for ordering the killing of more that 50,000 humans in Gaza and starving the rest to death …  all with US taxpayer dollars. Is it just a land grab to build hotels?

I have known many Jews (J&R electronics in New York was one of the most ethical business I have ever dealt with) – but killing and putting people of Islamic faith in apartheid style prison camps in Gaza and the West bank is disgusing and has the echoes of Hitler.   

You, Mr. Netanyahu (b. 21 October 1949 (age 75))  Hope you take the honerable way out and end your life on this planet before you kill more people – you are not at the Hitler level yet but you seem to be trying.  You are way past your sell by date.

Is starving to death 2 million people in Gaza a war crime?  Apparently the leaders in Israel think it ok.  IsNetanyahu a War criminal?  A want a be Hitler.   That by starving Palestinians – for what – to get land to build luxury hotels?  And all with US taxpayer dollars supported by both the Demo and Republican parties in the US congress who get their campaigns paid for by the military contractors that Dwight Eisenhower warned us about.   Am I being cynical?  Why not – it is the workers in this country that pay taxes to support the political class in this country that fly around and line the pockets of their relatives and friends.  We rich folks pay no taxes – thanks to the politicians we have paid to write the laws that let us avoid taxes.  Wish Trump well in his job of cleaning up the federal gov but am not a Trumper – but Biden – who was running the show (Dr. Jill?).

Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgram (RIP) – murdered by a gunman perhaps disturbed by Netanyahu’s order to kill 50,000+ Palestinians in Gaza and to wish to starve to death the rest.  You have blood on your hands Mr. Netanyahu with 2 humans killed as a direct result of your orders to bomb Gaza  … time to go out to pasture Mr. Netanyahu, be put in prison for your war crimes or take the honorable way out and end your own life as Hitler did. As for the rest of those in the media world … times are a changing so time to adapt.

Local:  Lure is the new mayor of San Francisco  and has his hands full with downtown SF … but hope he does not forget the Bayview (The T Line/3rd Street 2 year closure comes to mind) … but al least in the Bayview we have Supervisor in Shamonn Walton who seems to care about the young people of the Bayview.  Has a great staff which is the sign of a good manager.  Not a fan of the political class but apreciate clean and maintained streets, street cleaning crew and a MUNI system that works (mostly) … as well as the staff at SF 311.  At least Breed is gone. Toast to SF city emplyees that are doing thier best.

National: Trump is a wild card. Will see what he does.  Wish him well.  The federal gov is due for a shakeup  Is he up to the job?  At least Nancy Pelosi was forced to be polite and sit in her seat trough Trump’s State of the Union address to congress.

Biden is out to pasture and Harris is a footnote in history.   What was she doing sending me 2-3 mailings a week asking for money when her only slogan was “Send me money to Defend democracy”?  And with 1.5 billion$ from coastal elites – is that is the best she could come up with?

The Demo party will certainly need to recalibrate their message and vision.  Remember the Democrats were the party of the KKK in the South and machine politics in the North. Roosevelt (P33   b. 1882 d. 1945 age 63) was the President who ordered over 100,000 Japanese citizens of the United States into concentration camps during World War II – perhaps for his suporters to get land on the cheap.

Boycott Berkley California

When I sent a letter to the mayor of Berkley and the Police chief about a ticket I got for not wearing a seat belt on University Avenue – I got no reply.  All I asked for was an update on how many of these tickets they issued last year.  No reply.  Got a simular ticket from a Daly city cop and got a reply within days from the mayor’s office.  Makes me wonder if the government of Berkley is totally incopetent that letters and emails sent to them get no reply.  Willie Brown (mayor of San Francisco) replied to letters sent to him.

I asked the cop, don’t you have anything better to do than give me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt and his reply was “Shut the Fuck up or I am going to take you in”.  Is that “Protecting and Serving”?

Will I get a reply to emails or letters to the mayor and chief of police?  So far no reply.  anyone else with interactions with Berkeley gov – send to bob@zpub.com

Election season finally over,  I was kind of rooting for Kamala Harris but getting 2-3 mailings a week from the Harris campain asking for money to “Defend Democracy” was not much of a platform/vision for the country …  and with over 1 billion$ in campaign contributions think she could have done better.

Election season over thank God –  Wish the Trump guy and Mr. Dan Lurie  luck in the New Year.  Breed and Harris lost the election fair and square.  Got 2-3 mailings a week from the Harris campain asking for money to “Defend Democracy” (and with with over 1 billion dollars in campain contribution could not even articulate a vision for for the country – pathetic).  Democracy did Win.  Former mayor Breed did not even respond to emails or USPS mail sent to her office.  Now we will see what Team Lurie can do …  Still wonder why he wanted the Job.

Biden promised not to pardon his son and did it anyway.  The Demo party (the party of the KKK in the South and machine politics in the North) will have some reflecting to do as they lost the support of the struggling/working class in the country … guess the coastal elites may have to reflect on why they cannot buy elections with thier $$$.

Trump played the Trump card and won.  We will have to wait another day for the First Women President in the White House and for a “First Man” in the White house.  . And to think Dr. Jill did not even like Ms. Harris.

At least Breed and Biden are out to pasture.  Breed was a complete looser in my book – could not even be bothered to respond to email or USPS mail sent to her office …  She will probably get appointed (by Newsom) to a state commission where she will collect $200,000 per year to attend 4 board meetings per year.  Certainly not a Willie Brown style of politition who actually responed to USPS mail sent to his office. 

History: … The “Democrats” were the party of the KKK in the south and Roosevelt  (b.1882 – d. 1945) issued order 9066 to put US Japanese citizens of the United States into concentration camps. And Kamala Harris sent 2-3 letters a week asking for money to “Defend Democracy”.  Could have done better with the over 1bill$ she got in campaign contributions from the coastal elites. Even Jill Biden did not like her.  As the coastal media … The NYTimes still repeats the mantra that Epstein (b. 1953 d. 1919 age 66) actually committed suicide while in jail.  Building 7 … lets pull it?  Get real … and you wonder why there is no trust in the national media … all they are is an advertising venue for overpriced watches and fancy houses.  Present: Trump played the Trump card and won fair and square playing to income insecurity.  The Future:  We shall see … The future will be what the future will be. My sense is that None of us will get out of this life alive.

Email reciently sent, no reply….

We are subscribers to the Sunday edition and live in the Bayview.  Here are some comments/suggestions:

• Cover the Bayview.  It is one of the only semi affordable areas of the city – with the best weather and houses one of the last light industrial areas of the city – yet there is an active art scene.  We even have a winery ½ block from where we live (Gratta Winery/Deli on 3^rd St) and Hardware store from the 30’s.  I know that young people (men mostly) in the Bayview do not respect traffic laws and drive like crazy.
• With regard to your cover story in today’s edition about more Black people being killed in high speed chases – and I know that in San Francisco they avoid these – but the fatal flaw in the story – is that if more Black drivers are involved running from the cops this will be the result.
• I am sure that there is a lot involved with putting out a daily paper but would like to see a better balance between covering victims and what is working in the city.
• An be sure to cover SFMTA and how they have made a mess on Valencia St as well as 17^th St.  The bicycle coalition seems to be running the SFMTA.

Just some thoughts and hope they are helpful.

Griffin from  The San Francisco Standard responds to email.  Guess the SF Chron is a dying paper - part of an old generation.  Wonder if the Chron is even making money for the Hearst Corporation. 

Supervor Shamon Walton (District 10) and many other online publications respond to email … why do you not even bother to reply to email?  Still waiting.

My advice:

Save your money and do not renew.  They are a shell of thier former selves.

And Oprha shakering her down for $1 mil for a single night … tacky.  Kind of wanted her to win and have a First Man in the Whitehouse but democracy did finally win out in the end with the Trump guy finally getting back in.  Dont have a clue why he wants the day job of President of the USA but hope he gets rid of the 20,000 government employees around Washington DC plannning for a war with China.

When it was a station, 1890s-1950

In 1897, the Chief of Police argued for building new police stations for San Francisco. His opinion on the existing 17th Street Station was scorching: “this station is without proper accommodations, badly lighted, in a wretched condition, so far as draining and plumbing are concerned, a condition of things which is the natural outcome of the use of an old, small and dilapidated building.” He goes on to ask for proper funding to build a “substantial” and “fire-proof” station nearby, noting the everpresent risk of riotous mobs.

This seems to have worked! A few years later, the Mission got a new police station in the Romanesque Revival style of the time. A historical resources survey says “Built in 1899, the two-story concrete police station was designed by the firm of Shea & Shea. Damaged in 1906, the police station was repaired – minus its original corner turret – and placed back into service. It remained in service as the Southern District station until 1950 when the SFPD moved to a new district headquarters at 1240 Valencia Street.” (It later moved to its current location at 630 Valencia Street.)

The police department says it was built in 1902, and the city’s building records say it was built in 1903. According to this survey of the building, the story is that it was built from 1899-1900 and then completed in 1902.
