Itinerary for visit by Pope John Paul IIAs had been previously announced, Pope John Paul II will be making a pastoral visit to Cuba from January 21 to 25, 1998. The following is a summary of the itinerary agreed upon by the Joint Church and State Commission, which is responsible for the preparations for the visit. It includes the various religious and official activities to be undertaken by the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church and head of state of Vatican City, with which our country has maintained uninterrupted diplomatic relations since 1935.Wednesday, January 21
