Lots of people walk in the city. But there are dangers - in the past decade, more than 300 pedestrians and cyclists have been killed in The City,
according to city records.
Robert Skinner, 85, was found
lying on the ground on 19th Avenue and Lincoln Way about 1:45 a.m. yesterday. He was
reported to be in fair condition at San Francisco General Hospital with a shoulder fracture and
a head laceration

struck by a car and killed last week as he was walking to school in the city's outer Mission

Shu-Sum "Danny" Chan was killed when a car hit him in a crosswalk at the busy intersection
of Alemany Boulevard and Niagara Avenue as the boy walked to James Denman Middle
School...A 71-year-old unidentified man remains in critical condition with severe head injuries received
