Government has started to pay more attention to the web.
The city (and county) of San Francisco has progressively improved it's site along with the SF Public Library. The state and federal government are also starting to pay attention – but email to our local representatives is a waste of time. Better to call their offices directly – Senators: Dianne Feinstein (415) 393-0707 and Barbara Boxer (415) 403-0100 and Representative Nancy Pelosi (415) 556-4862

Where is the best info online for this?
San Francisco history has made an online presence – though there is much historical information in archives and libraries which are not yet available online.
And of course craigs list was born in the city.
But still the web fails to answer such
basic questions – such as
What's the best food delivery in the city? Who should you call if you need a plumber, lawyer or someone to remodel your kitchen? What cab company to call if you want a pickup? If you have suggestions, please drop us a line.
