How can you tell the difference between an etching and a lithograph?  And why would you want to?  Come to an informal afternoon of printmaking demonstrations at our workshop in Potrero Hill.  We will be printing various types of etchings, lithographs, monotypes, and woodcuts and setting type on our letterpress.  Come and ask questions.

Everyone is welcome.
Handicap accessible and plenty of parking available.

We are pleased to announce our second etching class in colaboration with Cell Space.

This class is for both absolute beginners and also people with some experience in etching:

An introduction to zinc and copper intaglio techniques, Including use of hard and soft grounds, etching, aquatint, drypoint, and chine colle. Students will learn the satisfaction of creating an image and printing it. Meets @ Graphic Arts Workshop: 2565 3rd st. # 305.

Here is the scheduling and pricing info:
Meets Tuesdays 7pm-10pm beginning 1/30 fee for 6 weeks:
$200 (includes a $40 materials fee)
